I am lucky to have a friend who offers some great online classes in magick at her enochian.org website. If you’re interested in classes in Goetic or Enochian magick, you might take a look there. However, the reason for this blog post is because she puts out a newsletter where she mentioned an event that sounds fantastic.

The Esoteric Book Conference is taking place September 19 and 20 in Seattle, Washington, and I wish I was going. There are going to be a dozen smaller publishers of high-quality occult books in attendance. I can’t think of any other place where you will find all of their published books in one place and where you can ask questions about these books. Workshop topics range from very esoteric aspects of the Golden Dawn to the techniques of Austin Osman Spare, Kenneth Grant, the Qlippoth, and grimoires old and new. There will also be some intriguing performances to entertain.

Speakers include Darcy Kuntz (who has done more researching and revealing the most hidden aspects of the history and practices of the Golden Dawn than anyone), Dr. Richard Kaczynski (whose Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley is considered to be the best biography of The Beast), and Brandy Williams (author of Practical Magic for Beginners) who will be speaking on the Chaldean Oracles. I mention these three because I know them personally  and can highly recommend their writing and their workshops.

Unfortunately, I’ve already obligated myself for that weekend, otherwise I’d certainly be there. If you attend, please leave a review here.
