I just opened up my 2012 Astrological Calendar; it’s been sitting in my cube since August. Now that I’m starting to plan into 2012 (I’m a Virgo 🙂 ), I had a need to open up my calendar. And let me just say—which I don’t generally say—but OMG! The art is absolutely stunning! Now, don’t get me wrong—I did look at the monthly previews on the back of the calendar, but I didn’t actually open it, wanting it to stay perfect until it was opened (again, I’m a Virgo). But, I will say, that seeing the art full-size is completely different, for me, at least.

The art in the 2012 calendar is by artist John J. Blumen, who designed the equally beautiful Wizards Tarot. With vibrant colors and beautifully-imagined scenes, the images will capture anyone’s breath.

PLUS, the calendar has all the usual perks that each edition has contained for the past 80 years:

-Monthly horoscopes for each sign
-Travel forecasts
-Best days for planting and fishing
-The Moon’s sign, phase, and void of course dates
-Graphic planetary retrograde table
-Major daily aspects, monthly ephemerides, and 2012 eclipses

You can view the entire calendar, including an insider look into the art, below.
