Egzorcysta is a new monthly magazine, based in Poland, that focuses on exorcisms. And this isn’t some paranormal/horror fan ‘zine. This is a magazine that uses Roman Catholic priests as a prime resource.

Many think of Linda Blair or campy horror movies when the word “exorcism” is used, but it’s a real and terrifying thing to those who are affected. A quote from the article states: “The rise in the number or exorcists from four to more than 120 over the course of 15 years in Poland is telling,” Father Aleksander Posacki, a professor of philosophy, theology and leading demonologist and exorcist told reporters in Warsaw at the Monday launch of the Egzorcysta monthly.

Demons should never be taken lightly. Alexis McQuillan relays her battle with a demon in the newly released Encounter With Hell. In it, she details the differences between a demon and a dark, angry entity, and she tells the harrow tales of coming face to face with a demon in a fight for her life.

I hope the magazine does well in Poland and educates the people on what they need to know when faced with a demon or one who is possessed.
