The Full Moon in Cancer occurred this morning, Friday, December 28 at 5:21 am Eastern (10:21 am GMT) at 7 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the December 13 New Moon in Sagittarius), which found us evaluating our past and current selves.

The Cancer Full Moon opposes the Sun in Capricorn; we are reminded to check ourselves in the progress we made towards our goals set during the Sagittarius New Moon. Are we on the right track in our personal lives? Are we being too emotional (Cancer) in our approach, and need to be more objective to our current situations and the track our life is taking? Are we being too obsessive over our professional lives (Capricorn) and not spending enough time at home? Watery Cancer is also a sign of home, so changes in this realm are entirely possible (perhaps even welcomed). Emotional release is also possible, as 2012 comes full circle and to a close (as it was begun with a January 9 Full Moon in Cancer).
