Card A Day (with a Twist)

On Facebook I belong to a fun tarot group called Tarotholics Anonymous. The other day Tiffany Crosara shared an exercise that her friend Patricia Finney taught her.

It is very simple:

Draw a card in the morning, but don’t look at it, put it away. At the end of the day, note any interesting events and guess which card it might have been – then see if you were right.

This is a great way to exercise your intuition and, if you are so inclined, your prediction skills.

What are some ways you use the Card A Day practice?

I use the card a day technique you describe in ‘What the Tarot Can Do for You” & prior to that I used the one found on the Tarot School website. I’m anxious to try this one as a comparison to what I ‘know’ I’m ‘supposed’ to get.

I do readings every morning. Depending on the state of the question of the day, I may do a 3 card reading, a celtic spread or a lovers reading. I have learned so much about each card and the importance of my choices in life. My intuition is strongly linked to the phases of the moon.
