Courtney Alexander is a multimedia artist, writer, and creator of Dust II Onyx: A Melanated Tarot Deck. As the first widely produced, Black artist-made tarot deck, Dust II Onyx has been celebrated for its evocative art and cultural depth, featured in Black Futures, MIT Distinctive Collections, and The Library of Esoterica: Tarot. Through her art and teaching, Courtney explores spirituality, ancestry, and personal mythmaking to help others reclaim their stories. She continues to expand her work through writing, teaching, and developing tools for intuitive practice rooted in Black and diasporic traditions.
