Spell: Let It Go Altar

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Create this altar whenever you need some extra help letting go of heavy emotions, limiting thoughts, negative patterns, or harmful habits. Place a photo of yourself on your altar, or put a mirror there that you can look into and see your face. Surround the photo or mirror with candles, flowers, crystals, candies, and other things you like. Place a fireproof dish on your altar, and put a black or gray tealight candle on it and light it. Write down on a small scrap of paper a description of whatever it is you wish to let go of, then use tweezers to hold the paper over the flame until the words you wrote burn completely. If you like, you can leave the altar in place and do this ritual every night until the next dark moon. After you burn each paper, add to the altar another candy, crystal, flower, or other small token as a gift to yourself in honor of your strength and resilience. Be sure to extinguish the candle when done.
