Incense of the day: Pine To ensure the flow of smooth business and trade today, install an aquarium containing eight gold fish of different sorts and one golden-black fish in the reception area of your business establishment or office. Ideally this should be positioned at the left corner that is farthest from the entrance to the space. This is, according to feng shui principles, the "prosperity corner." Since ancient times, gold-colored fish have been considered by the Chinese to be auspicious. The eight gold-colored fish, then, symbolize good luck, while the golden-black fish represents protection. Decorate the bottom of the aquarium with smooth, colorful pebbles. Consecrate and place three tumbled stones each of jade, green tourmaline, and moss agate among the pebbles to enhance good business turnover and general harmony. Feed the fish daily, and change the water regularly to prevent it from turning murky. If the area is too small to comfortably fit an aquarium, a large fishbowl works just as well. |
