LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: On Building Community

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

As our calendar year comes to a close, take a moment to light a white candle and to reflect on all of the lessons that you have acquired. Ask the Lord and Lady for illumination and wisdom to help guide your footsteps in the coming year.
Meditate on how one tiny candle flame has the ability to add light into a dark night. Now imagine what would happen if all of the Witches and pagans banded together. If all of us were represented by our own light, think about how much illumination would truly be out there. Instead of bickering among ourselves about traditions and community politics, let's work together and make a stronger, richer, and more diverse community.

By the light of a candle flame,
God and Goddess, I call your names.
Now spread illumination in the community
For the good of all of us, so shall it be.
