Spell: Remembering the Dead Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

On this day in 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. What is often forgotten is that two other great men died on the same day-C. S. Lewis and Aldous Huxley. All three of these men were visionaries in the broad sense of the word. They all saw the big picture, and expressed it in ways that were accessible to many people. They shaped the future of our world in sweeping ways. Kennedy proposed we would put a man on the Moon, and we did. Lewis and Huxley wrote books that deepened our understanding of the human condition. By the way, the television show Doctor Who also premiered that same day.
