Incense of the day: Lavender At this time of new beginnings, adorn your altar with an orange cloth, a sapphire, and a vase of flowers. These symbols honor Odin, the god who gave the human race the runic alphabet. Place the following runes in front of you left to right: Mann (m), for the self; Beorc (b), for growth; Eh (e), for transformation; and Ing (y), for fertility. As you meditate on the runes, say: "As I live so I manifest." Ing represents the completion of beginnings. It is important to remain centered now.
