Color of the day: White Incense of the day: Clary sage The balance of the year is moving toward the last harvest and internal focus. To seek inner wisdom and understanding, hold a malachite stone in your hand and sit before your altar. Sit quietly for several minutes and move your awareness inside you. Find a candle there and observe the flame, the wick, and the candle color and size. All these details give you understanding of who you are. Observe and don't judge. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the candle, use your awareness to encourage the candle to change. Using your breath, breathe into the candle the qualities that you wish to explore during the coming season of introspection. See the color become clear and the flame brighten as you continue to breathe your wisdom. When you are finished, contemplate your inner light for a few minutes. Then, move your awareness outside your body, back into the here and now. Move your awareness to the stone so the wisdom gained invigorates it. When you're done, you can carry the stone with you during this season as a reminder of your inner light. |
