Spell: New Moon Love Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Sometimes called the Lover's Moon, this New Moon is a perfect time to bring love into your life. Prepare a bath into which you mix a potion of 3 tablespoons of honey, 9 drops of rose oil, and 3 drops of lemon verbena oil. Honey, symbolizing love and sweetness, was given to a newly married couple and is the origin of "honeymoon." The rose is so synonymous with love that each color of rose has its own magical properties. June is the month when the rose is at its height of potency. Lemon verbena is used to make you attractive to the opposite sex. These ingredients combined with water, the realm of emotions, will dissolve any resistance you may harbor toward a love relationship. Before slowly sliding into the water, light some new red candles around the tub. Breathe deeply and soft focus your eyes as you gaze into the candlelight. Feel yourself opening emotionally to the possibility of a new love. Stay with that process until you feel confident that your heart is open. Then say:
As I bathe by candlelight
I draw new love to me tonight.
By the New Moon next month, a new lover should have entered your life.
