| This is an autumn planting ritual that will renew your spirit.
Spring-flowering bulbs are always planted in the autumn; in so doing, you're reaffirming your belief that there will be a tomorrow. For this spell, the soil will serve as your altar and your garden tools will be your magical tools. Prepare your planting area; it needn't be large. Smell the rich earth as you turn the soil and visualize it bursting with color next spring. Select your bulbs. These could be crocus and daffodils to bring luck. Hyacinths will draw protection and happiness with their fragrance. And tulips are known to attract love. Or you may select other bulbs. As you plant, handle your bulbs with reverence. The bulbs will appear to be dry and lifeless, but each bulb contains the mystery of life renewed. In essence, you're holding tomorrow in your hands. After planting, leave a coin in the soil as a sign of thanks. |
