POSTED UNDER Earth, Protection, Snow

Spell: Elemental Connection: Earth

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Immerse yourself in the earth element. Wear natural fibers in earthy colors of green, blue, and brown. Begin and end each day with a walk, at least part of which is spent with bare feet on the actual earth rather than on concrete or asphalt.
Collect and work with stones and crystals; pay attention to which ones seem to call to you, remembering that stones are the oldest of Earth's denizens and bear the ancient memories. They'll share their stories if you only listen. Carry a piece of snowflake obsidian in your pocket for protection, and wear stones as necklaces, earrings, or other adornments. Use ceramic or wood to make a panticle for your altar, inscribed with a pentagram, an earth triangle sign, runes, or other relevant or meaningful symbols. Feast on unprocessed, organic foods. Revel in the solid-but-sensual nature of the earth element.
