Spell: What's Past is (and Should Be) Done

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Look back at last year again. What should be buried and forgotten? Your intention is to bury the old stuff.

Set Athena and an earth goddess on your altar. Add a small, new plant and a flowerpot filled with potting soil. Light a red candle for root chakra energy. Cast your circle. Have paper and a pen handy as you comb through your memories and find things that need to be buried so Mother Earth can recycle them. Write them down, then speak these words:

"What's done is done.
I am burying __________ from last year.
What's buried is safely gone.
Let it dissolve in the soil.
Let it be recycled.
Let it help this plant grow.
Let it change my life."

Burn what you wrote in the flame of the candle, then drop the ashes into the flowerpot. Mix them in with the soil. Plant the new plant and open your circle.
