Spell: Affirmation for Peace

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

W e live in a chaotic world, constantly bombarded by bad news, too many demands on our time and energy, and lots of electronic gizmos that distract us from the quiet blessings around us. It can be hard to find peace. From time to time, it helps to take a moment to simply let yourself stop and take a breath.

Try doing this affirmation for a moment or two every day and see if it helps. If you have time, you can sit in front of a candle or look out a window. But you can always just find a quiet place (bathrooms work!) and close your eyes for just a minute. Breathe in and out slowly, place your hands on your core (over your belly), and say:

I am a child of the Goddess and
I am surrounded by her love.
I am calm and at peace.
