From time to time, we all get bogged down in our jobs, hobbies, or spellwork. For an extra creative push, safely light a candle. For this time of year, as we move away from Samhain and toward Yule, choose a candle with an aroma that is a combination of orange spicy and red peppermint.

There are times when candles are not an option. One solution is heated plug-ins, which offer just as many seasonal scents. Yet even they can be a problem in places where no flame or heat is allowed. In that case, scented beads are the perfect solution. These, too, come in diverse scents appropriate for any season or occasion. All of these options can be found in supermarkets and specialty stores.

As you light your candle, say:
At those times when my light burns
low, an extra push will follow.
With soft flame and warm scents,
watch the creativity flow.

Be sure to extinguish the flame.
