Spell: Winter Goose Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Many cultures celebrate February 6 as a snow festival. It is said that when the sky goddess, Holda, shakes her feather quilts it snows. If you're a fan of snow try this charm preserved through the centuries in the stories of Mother Goose.

Start by decorating your altar with a white cloth, a white candle, snowflakes made from white or silver paper, a snow globe and quartz crystals. Cast a circle and light the candle, saying:

Snow,
snow faster;
Ally-
ally-blaster.
The old woman's
plucking her geese,
Selling the feathers
a penny apiece.

Shake the snow globe and watch the snowflakes whirl around. Visualize
snowflakes falling from your window to the ground below. Thank the goddess Holda and close your circle.
