Spell: International Peace Day

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is the International Day of Peace, established by the United Nations in 1981. It is also a new moon/solar eclipse. This is a transformational time for a new beginning. It is a day to promote peace throughout the world, but more importantly a time to consciously cultivate peace within yourself. The new moon is like a doorway, a chance to begin again and walk into the new energy with fresh ideas about how to achieve peace. Obtain a small candle, white if possible, but any color that you have on hand will work. Place the candle in a holder where it can safely burn until it goes out on its own. Say this blessing as you light the candle to send out a wish for inner peace as well as wishes for a more peaceful world:

As I light this candle flame, I wish for peace within and I wish for the world the same.
