Angela’s 2012 Wrap-Up

This post was written by Angela

December is truly my favorite month! I love the sights. I love the smells. Even the sounds of music and ringing bells that I’ve heard every year before don’t get old. The sense of magic I felt as a kid flutters back to life as new traditions are made and old ones are celebrated.

One of these traditions is the year review that begins as I write my holiday letter. What did I do this year and where has life taken me? What did I love, lose, and accomplish? Often I’m left amazed at everything that’s transpired in the course of twelve months! From that jumping off point I take another step and write down my goals for the year ahead. By the time I’m done I feel like I know myself a little better. I know where I’ve been, how I’ve played, and where I’ve faltered. I have a better grasp of where I want to go from there and glean new ideas in how to lay that path. Talk about empowerment!

So where have we been this year in the worlds of self help, health and healing, and spiritual development? Let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we? Considering the amount of information, I’ll be brief! Click the links for more on those that leave a twinkle in your eye…

Reincarnation & Buddhism

Don’t Give Up Until You Do by Fred H. Meyer, MD: The Buddhist experience of realization and enlightenment is not reserved for monks on distant mountaintops. It is your birthright and can become the way you view yourself and the world.

Forever With You by Patrick Mathews: Join medium Patrick Mathews as he communicates with those who have passed over, sharing their experiences of the other side and the profound impact their continuing presence has on us.

I hope you find as much inspiration from these titles as I have! And if it’s gift ideas you’re looking for here are even more thoughts from last year’s post, Twenty Under $20: Mind-Body-Soul Gifts by Personal Taste.

That’s a wrap! And here’s a bow to top it all off.
Happy Holidays!
