Incense of the day: Pine During this first quarter of the Flower Moon, blossoms fill the air with their potent fragrance. Today is the day to see who is good and who is true by using flowers as a diviner's tool. Start by taking a daisy in your dominant hand. Inhale its delicate aroma with one long, sustained breath. Exhale away from the flower. Repeat slowly and methodically seven times. By the seventh time you should feel light and clear. Now is time for the magic. Close your eyes, and stroke the flower. Speak the following incantation: Daisy delicate, Soft yet strong, Tell me the truth for which I yearn. Is this notion I hold close True or false? Now begin removing the petals. Each time you pluck one, answer your own question, yes or no, until you have no more petals left. The last word, yes or no, is your answer. Thank the daisy for sharing its magic with you during this divination. Set it free on fresh water. |
