Incense of the day: Lilac We all have stories to tell that make others laugh, cry, and learn. We may not know that we have the ability to communicate these stories with joy and love. Find a quiet place sacred to you and settle into a meditative state. Breathe deeply and cast your awareness inside your body. As you walk around, go into the rooms of your heart. In one room, see the storyteller in a rocking chair. Go and sit there and listen to the stories. When the stories are done, the storyteller holds your hands, looks deep into your eyes, and then kisses you, saying: "Welcome, bard." You feel the power of stories fill you. With your hands and voice, you are now able to tell vibrant, beautiful stories. With a long breath, open your eyes, now back in your sacred place. |
