The most potent way to invoke this goddess of grain is to make hot cereal or bake bread. Using the fertile energies of wheat, raisins, and hazelnuts, make a loaf of bread today. As you prepare the dough, invoke Ceres to help you lead a more creative life. 1 cup white flour 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. allspice 1 beaten egg 1/2 cup applesauce 3 tbsp. oil 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 cup raisins 1 cup finely chopped hazelnuts Mix all ingredients together. Bake in a 350º oven for forty-five to fifty minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes clean. |
