Color of the day: Silver Incense of the day: Narcissus When you purchase a new tarot deck, use this spell to empower it for successful readings. You will need: the deck, a piece of moonstone, a vibrant purple cloth, and 3 teaspoons of mugwort. To begin, lay the purple cloth on your altar with the deck in the center. Sprinkle the mugwort around the deck in a clockwise circle. Next, hold the moonstone between your palms. Whisper into your cupped hands, "Awaken with light, moonstone sacred and bright." Place the moonstone on top of the deck. Fold the fabric in to cover the deck, trying not to let the herbs or moonstone fall out. Say this incantation: By magical herb and stone, I empower thee, new tarot. Assist me in my divination, Provide me with clear and focused readings. So mote it be! Leave the wrapped deck on your altar for the night. |
