| This Earth Day, give back something of yourself for all Mother Earth has given you. Take a notepad and a large water container, and go out to a favorite place in nature. Sit comfortably with your back against a tree, and meditate deeply on the energies of the earth. Ground deeply and well, giving of your self, your heart, and your spirit to this wondrous organism who sustains us. Ask her what she needs in order to best grow and heal. Open yourself to whatever messages she reveals to you, and be sure not to make any promises you can't or won't keep. After your meditation, write down the relevant pieces of your conversation. Give an offering of water to the plants in the area before you leave, and then make a plan to do whatever you agreed to help her with, openheartedly and with love. |
