| Let today be a day to live in a state of grace, cultivating gratitude for the resources that surround and support you, the people who love and care for you, and the earth that shelters and guides us. In even the smallest act, there are a multitude of things to be thankful for.
Pause while making tea and give thanks for electricity or gas and the fuels and tools to heat water. Be grateful for clean, clear, and safe drinking water that flows out of the tap. Have gratitude for the cup you drink from, the dishes in your kitchen, the kitchen itself, and your sheltering home. As you drink the tea, feel blessed by the soothing, healing liquid that nourishes and replenishes your body. Give thanks for your wondrous body! May every cell be well. As you sip your tea, whisper thank you, swallow, and know gratitude. Let awareness raise you into a state of grace. |
