| Fire is a powerful way to encourage transformation and to banish harmful energy. Today, make way for change. Write down what you wish to purge, then fold the paper and burn it. Use an outdoor fire pit or, if indoors, use a saucepan on the stove or some other heatproof container.
As the paper is burning, visualize the fire consuming that which needs to be removed from your life. You are transformed. You will rise like a phoenix from the ashes. As the paper burns, chant: "Fire, rid me of this weight, On this night I consummate The change I need to be set free, Let it be the best for me. For good of all and harm to none, As I will, so it be done." When the fire is out and the ashes have cooled, collect them and either set them free upon the wind or bury them. |
