Oftentimes when we have miscommunications with the people in our lives, we find it easy to place the blame wholly on them. However, we know in our hearts that it takes two people to create conflict and it takes two people to resolve conflict.

For this spell, take a small blade or wooden pick and inscribe a white pillar candle with words and symbols representing what you want the other person to do to help ease the communication difficulty. On a second white pillar candle, inscribe words and symbols representing what you need to do. (Hint: When you’re done, your candle should be the one with the most carvings!) Set the candles about a foot apart, light them safely, and say:

May the air be sweet between us,
may our minds be filled with light.
May we each bring all the best
that we have, no matter who’s
wrong or who’s right!

Repeat every night until the full moon, moving the candles closer each time. Follow up with a heartfelt conversation.
