Spell: Water Protection Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is National Go Fishing Day, International Sushi Day, and Clean Your Aquarium Day—which definitely seems a bit fishy! Whether you happen to eat or keep fish (or neither!), I think we can all agree that it's vital to protect the water they live in. Here is a spell to help protect your favorite local body of water. When visiting, find a discreet place to draw a symbol, ideally directly in the sand or mud, but you can also draw it in the water itself with a stick. First draw a circle, saying:
I recognize the sovereign spirit of this
water (name the body if you know it).
Draw three wavy lines through the circle and extending beyond it as you say:
May these waters flow free of
pollution, free of contaminants,
and free of harmful bodies.
Draw six points around the circle as you say:
May this water be protected at the
north and the south, the east and the
west, above and below. So mote it be.
