Use this chant while you scatter salt to set a protective border around your home.

Walk the boundary outside of your home. If you live in an apartment, walk around the entire outside of your building. While walking, scatter a bit of salt on the ground and visualize your own energy mixing with the energy of the salt to form a barrier. You may visualize this barrier any way you like: as a brick wall, a bright radiant light, or whatever works best for you. Chant:

Set this barrier into place

To protect my family, home, and space.

Upon this ground my strength does pour

To protect those here for evermore
