Spell: The First Harvest

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today we celebrate the first official harvest of the season. It is a time to celebrate the abundance you have gathered. Whether this is the fruits of your garden or the fruits of a harvest in other areas of your life, now is the time to celebrate and be thankful for all you have achieved so far this year.

Create a small collage with pictures, words, statements, sigils, stickers, or anything that represents your achievements for the year. This will need to be placed on your altar or in another prominent location in your home where you will see it daily when it is done. Take this into consideration when choosing the size and background of your creation.

Fill your collage with images of what you are proud of achieving. These are things you worked for, and recognition is deserved. We often forget to recognize our own achievements or congratulate ourselves. Instead, we are brainwashed into completing a task and efficiently moving on to the next, with little to no self-praise or self-acknowledgment of a job well done.

Tell yourself you deserved these successes. Congratulate yourself on what you have achieved. Feel appreciation for the work you performed and the goals you have accomplished.

When finished, display your collage until Yule. You may add any new accomplishments on the second harvest at the autumnal equinox or on the third harvest at Samhain.
