DEFINITIONS

Ba: One of the three parts of the soul according to ancient Egyptian belief. A person must have all three parts to live, and if one part died they all died. The Ba is the individuality or specific personality of a person; the soul. In Egyptian symbolism it was depicted as a bird with the head of a human.Donald Michael Kraig
