Cancellarius: An officer of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. In a full temple, this officer is present on the dais when the temple is open for Neophytes. The purpose of this officer (the name is Latin for “chancellor”) is to keep records. When this office is held by a woman, she is called the Cancellaria.
