Telepathic Communication
This article was written by Carl Llewellyn Weschcke posted under
Earlier, on my December 20, 2004 posting, I mentioned that I had many stories involving my grandfather. One of them involved his lawyer and my father. Dad, grandfather and their lawyer often discussed business over lunch at a small downtown cafeteria called the Millcrest. In his later years, my grandfather wintered in Florida as the Minnesota cold was particularly hard on his legs. (Incidentally, this was the era when men sometimes wore “spats” which covered shoe and ankle. In his case it helped warm his ankles.) Dad and my grandfather were in business together, and on this instance Dad and Mr. W. W. Allen (the company lawyer) were discussing something that they felt needed grandfather’s immediate approval. Dad said that “Allen closed his eyes for several minutes, then opened them and said ‘CW approves.’” Two days later Dad had a letter from him remarking on how Allen had mentally contacted him and how satisfied he was to give his approval. The detail of this instance of telepathic communication goes beyond anything that I’ve read about in the paranormal literature, yet I believe it. What’s missing in the parapsychology labs is the involvement of two trained occultists. I have read of similar things in occult fiction, but this is the only instance that I know of with direct and detailed personal transmittal of a telepathic communication. Mr. Allen was an interesting man. I only remember him from childhood at our country home. I enjoyed going for a walk with him while he smoked a small cigar, but I remember nothing of our conversations. What I do remember of one of those visits was what the ladies had to say about his sleeping habits. It seems that he never used the bed in his guest room, and when asked about it he said that he spent the nights sitting in a chair and working out of body as a “helper on the inner planes.” These are two pretty amazing stories. |
