When most people think about tarot, they view the cards as a device to answer questions or tell the future. I get asked to read someone's cards every time I pull a deck from my bag. Did you know tarot can be used for more than just asking questions? You can sprinkle tarot into almost every activity you do in the day. Each of the techniques I suggest here do not have to take up too much time in your life. In fact, I recommend you spend less time when you pull cards. Doing so helps prevent the inner editor from leaking in and telling you how you are doing things wrong and that your interpretations aren't good enough. Time is precious, and simple acts of insight can be as potent as ones ...
Memorization. A lot of people think that's what reading tarot is about. A lot of readers will say, "I read cards a little, but not really—I still have to use the book." Or, "I can't remember what they all mean!" Guess what? You don't have to! You can learn to read cards specifically, concretely, vividly—and you don't need to cross your eyes over one more list of terms like "balance," "harmony," "manifestation," "affirmation," or whatever. What is true for you is true for the universe. What is true for the universe is true for you. As above, so below. This is why when you give love, you receive love. You, like the Fool tarot card, are on a journey, quest, adventure. The journey of who you are, like a sacred circle, will lead you back yourself. The World circles back to the Fool card and begins the journey again. Your journey begins with you. It ends with you. You ...

A lot of times, people are not overly sure what to do with it or totally disregard it and deal with it as if it is an upright card. This, in my opinion, disrupts the flow of information the cards are trying to tell you. When a reversed card shows up in your reading, it is meant to be there and it has a message that needs to be heard. So do not be too quick to turn that card back up the right way. Sometimes we are not at all prepared to work with the energy of card in its upright position and having it in its reversed state allows us an opportunity to go deeper and clean house a little more ...
