We've all no doubt spoken the ancient children's rhyme at some point in our lives:

Find a penny,
Pick it up,
All the day you'll have good luck.

Truth is, you should always stop to pick up pennies-with your right hand (if you are right-handed) for material gain, or with your left hand for spiritual gain. Or, if you want, you can pick up the penny with your right hand and transfer it to your left hand to let your material energy nourish the spiritual. Con-versely, you can also can pick it up with your left hand, and transfer it to your right hand to encourage your spiritual energy to feed your material work. I always save pennies I have found. They only give luck for that day, but they can add up. I use them to save for special items, like new magical tools, or books, or tarot decks.
