LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Bastille Day Liberty Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In honor of the French holiday, we celebrate liberty and freedom from oppression. To start, on a candle carve these words:
Liberty
Equality
Kinship.
Anoint the candle with sandalwood oil or with the ashes from sandalwood incense and visualize all the world's people living in freedom and harmony with each other and with the natural world. As you light the candle, chant:
Liberty
Equality
Kinship.
Watch the light from your candle spread into the world and join with other such lights. Take concrete action some time during the day to promote these values in your community.
