Spell: Blessing the Family Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Crimson
Incense of the day: Musk

The eight-day Roman festival, Vestalia, commenced on this day. In honor of Vesta, goddess
of fire and the hearth, the Romans made offerings of food baked on their own hearths. Vesta'a temple was opened to all married women for just this brief time. Once the festival ended, the temple was open only to the goddess' attendants, the Vestal Virgins. The festival was a nature celebration that remained popular with indigenous communities. As keeper of the sacred hearth, Vesta is regarded as a homebound goddess. Today, devote some time to making your home a sacred place. Commit thirty minutes to creating order and harmony for your sanctuary. This can be a simple task like organizing one drawer or tidying a cupboard.
