Locate photos or items that remind you of each person you wish to remember and honor. They can be living or deceased, close or far away. Use any objects that belong to the person: jewelry, clothing, photos. If you don't have an item, simply write the person's name on a piece of paper or use something that reminds you of them, or you can create a collage of photos. The "altar" can be a table, dresser, or fireplace mantle. Keep the altar up for the holiday season to remind you of your emotional ties and connections. |
