Spell: Ritual Cleansing Bath

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Rosemary

A good ritual bath can be an excellent lead-in to ritual or meditation. It is a good way to start getting yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared to enter your sacred space and undertake the work at hand. This particular bath salt recipe is for cleansing and clearing. You will need a decent-sized ceramic or stone mortar and pestle to prepare this recipe. Combine 3 parts Epsom salts with 2 parts baking soda and 1 part sea salt. Grind these thoroughly in the mortar. When they are ground to a coarse powder, add one teaspoon sage essential oil and one teaspoon lavender essential oil. Mix thoroughly. Store in a tightly sealed jar until needed. Use these salts for a ritual bath prior to a public or private ritual to clear away any negative energies and tune in your mind and body to the work ahead.
