Spell: See and Talk to the Fae Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Orange
Incense of the day: Eucalyptus

At sunset, go outside and set up an "altar" on a tree stump or other natural organic place without pesticides or herbicides, and position yourself near a tree, a group of trees, or a faerie ring of mushrooms (don't go inside the ring). Bring as an offering a thimble of honey and something shiny (not iron). Bring a cup of chamomile tea for yourself to drink. Pick some tansy flowers and pick off a couple of leaves to swipe over your third eye (and the oils in the leaves smell wonderful). Light some candles if it's not too breezy. Rest in a comfortable place with an open mind and a light, happy heart. Observe any butterflies, dragonflies, bees, or other creatures informing you of their presence. Tell the creatures that you are a child of nature and then provide care to the plants outdoors, even tend an organic flower garden. Don't strain to see or hear, just relax and be open to experience whatever happens. You may see impressions out of your peripheral vision or hear faint, beautiful music, or you may feel "tingly." No matter what you experience, come back as you are, remembering your otherworldly contact.
