| Today is sacred to both Ishtar and Venus, goddesses of love and sexuality. In their honor, spend some time alone or with a partner to honor the sanctity of your body and sexuality. Bless a cup of salted water and disrobe in front of a mirror. Allow your gaze to see every part of yourself. Touch your body and know that you are stroking the skin of the divine. When ready, begin anointing your body, starting with your head and ending with your feet. As you touch the water to your skin say:
I bless my ____. There is no part of me that is not of the gods. Take a deep breath and look at yourself in the mirror once more. See the beauty in all of your parts. Bow to your God-self. You are human. You are divine. You are beautiful. There is no part of you that is not of the gods. Blessed be. |
