| Now that the Sun is in Cancer, it's a good time to take a trip to the shore. While there, you can perform this mediation. On a secluded beach, sit silently-watch and listen to the ocean. See the waves building, crashing, fading, and then being drawn back into the sea. Hear the waves as they crest, then subside.
Now, think of an issue you're dealing with; see it as a physical shape on the shoreline. Watch as the surf washes over it; see it being cleansed by the tide. Each time a wave breaks, visualize your issue getting smaller, until it's gone. Return to your regular state of mind. Inhale the salt air and pick up an amulet from the beach. It could be a pebble or shell. Take this token home, and hold it if your issue arises again. As you hold it, see yourself at the shore, and repeat this meditation. |
