| It's my favorite season-football season. If you have a loved one who plays football, here's a protection spell to try. Place a photo of your football player-in uniform, of course-on your altar. For this spell, you'll invoke Mars, the warrior god and protector of athletes, so have some items on your altar associated with him. This could be things such as a photo of a wolf or a rooster. Have the altar decorated with a red candle and chrysanthemums for protection. Also include a small dish of ground ginger.
Place the photo before the candle, then light the candle. As the flame grows, see a ring of protection surrounding the photo. Sprinkle the ginger around the photo and say: "Mars, warrior and protector, Hear this charm. Protect [Name], And keep [him/her] safe from harm." Snuff out the candle, but don't move the photo until after the game. |
