Spell: Spell for Capturing Warmth

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Since it is very late fall and almost winter, a spell designed to help us retain warmth may be helpful. To cast this spell, gather a red candle and cinnamon oil. Anoint the candle with the oil, and charge the candle to hold the power of the sun. Ask for the power of the sun to shine down and be directed into the candle. Now, light the candle and visualize that as the candle burns, it transfers the warmth from the flame into your solar plexus, located about three inches above your belly button. Say:

"Flame of candle, renew inner fire,
Keep me warm despite the chill.
Comforting heat is my desire,
Feel of summer is what I will."

Allow the candle to burn as long as you can, envisioning your solar plexus building up a reserve of warmth to sustain you throughout the cold half of the year. Extinguish the candle.
