POSTED UNDER Rain, Snow, Water

Spell: Fire and Water Fortunetelling

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

For this divination you will need a purple votive candle and a bowl of cold water (melted snow or rain if possible).

Light the candle, and as it burns, think about a question or issue for which you would like an answer. If you don’t have a specific query, you can ask, What influences are entering my life now?

Once the top of the votive candle has accumulated a substantial puddle of wax without spilling over, carefully dump the wax into the water all at once. When it cools, take the wax out of the water and flip it over. It will have solidified into interesting shapes as it hit the cold water.

What do the wax lumps and bumps look like? You may see animals, objects, or faces. How do you decide what they mean? The first feeling or association that pops into your head is usually the answer. Write down your impressions so you can revisit them later.
