Jean-Louis de Biasi is a writer, speaker and a Hermetic philosopher who has studied the various topics of the Tradition since the 1970s, and who has been initiated into the highest degrees of several Western initiatic traditions including Grand Master of the Ordo Aurum Solis. In his position as Reverend of the religious expression of the Hermetic tradition, Ecclesia Ogdoadica, he continues his work in perpetuating this rich Ogdoadic and Hermetic tradition.

De Biasi’s philosophical and spiritual tradition is rooted in neoplatonic and hermetic affiliations, and includes masters of the tradition such as Plato, Proclus, Iamblicus, the Emperor Julian, Pletho and Ficino. He has written several books about the Aurum Solis published in French, while his most recent books are  published in English by Llewellyn Worldwide, Ltd., including Secrets and Practices of the Freemasons, and The Divine Arcana of the Aurum Solis.

Currently affiliated to Lodges in both Canada and the United States, de Biasi was initiated into Freemasonry and raised in 1992 and is a 32° Scottish Rite Freemason, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S., F.G.C.R., Royal Arch Mason, and is a leading member of the Ordre Kabbalistique de la Rose-Croix.

A popular lecturer, he gives frequent workshops, seminars, trainings, and conferences around the world on various philosophical and traditional subjects. A native of France, he now lives in Nevada.
