Planetary and Seasonal Angels
This article was written by Richard Webster on January 04, 2008 posted under Angel The ancient Romans associated the days of the week with the seven visible planets. The association gradually took on more and more elements, including angels. The first documented evidence of this comes from twelfth-century Spain. Esoteric philosophy flourished at that time, and European scholars began translating valuable books from the past, discovering many insights in the process. Here are the planets and angels that are generally associated with each day of the week:
Day………….Planet……….Angel
Sunday………Sun………….Michael (Also Raphael)
Monday……..Moon………..Gabriel
Tuesday……..Mars…………(Also Sammael)
Wednesday….Mercury……..Raphael (Also Michael)
Thursday…….Jupiter……….Zadkiel (Also Sachiel and Zachariel)
Friday……….Venus………..Haniel
Saturday…….Saturn………..Orifiel (Also Cassiel and Zaphiel)
The seasonal angels govern the four seasons
Season………..Angel
Spring…………Amatiel, Caracasa, Core and Commissoros
Summer……….Gargatel, Gaviel and Tariel
Autumn……….Tarquam and Guabarel
Winter…………Amabael and Ceterari
