The capacity of the mind to receive information through touch, typically through the hands or fingers. That sensory/extrasensory phenomenon has been illustrated in lab studies at Athens State University under the guidance of Dr. Joe. H. Slate in which blindfolded subjects were given the task of perceiving the color of a stimulus, such as a sheet of paper, through touch alone. In one remarkable instance, the subject, a celebrated psychic, accurately identified the color of ten sheets of construction paper, each of a different color, through touch alone.  

There is strong evidence that you can develop your derma-optic skills through certain practice exercises. ASU studies included the use of ten colored jelly beans in which blindfolded subjects were given the task of identifying the color of each jelly bean through touch alone.  Following sufficient practice, all subjects typically improved their performance in identifying the color of each bean. Similar results came from using ten colored glass marbles and ten 2” x 2” samples of colored construction paper. 

Further ASU lab studies revealed that the development of your derma-optic potentials results in a powerful generalization effect that markedly stimulates the development of other ESP faculties. Repeatedly, performance on telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition tasks using ESP cards appreciably improved following practice of derma-optic exercises.
